"HCB Center Console Yachts (formally known as Hydrasports) over the last several years has taken the center console design to new lengths. With the advent of the Seven Marine 500hp + outboard engines it gave manufacturers like HCB the ability to go where no center consoles have gone before. HCB first launched the 53′ Suenos and with that changed center console boating forever. In the coming years you will see more and more companies debuting 50’+ center consoles.
However today HCB is testing the next frontier or center consoles in the all new 65′ Estrella. Now I realize 65′ center console sounds huge but it really is hard to visualize just how much bigger the 65′ Estrella is than say the 53′ Seunos.
Testing has just begun on the new HCB 65′ Estrella so pricing and performance and a whole bunch of other questions have yet to be released, but as soon as they are we will get them to you.
Most people have very strong opinions one way or the other about center consoles getting bigger and bigger. Know this though, it isn’t a boating segment that is just a short term trend. It’s here to stay and oh by the way…its not stopping at 65′!
